Michael and I made these brownies last year for Valentine’s Day, so I thought it might be nice to share the recipe with you, in case anyone is looking for a special treat to make their Valentine on Friday! We paired it with a delicious chocolate coconut icecream. Delish!!
It’s also the recipe we use for our Chocolate Brownie Cupcakes we sell at various markets around Perth. Find out where out next market is here so you can try some!
You Will Need:
1/2 Cup Rice Flour
1/2 Cup Plain Gluten Free Flour
1/4 Teaspoon Gluten Free Baking Powder
1/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
1 1/4 Cups Caster Sugar
2 Eggs, lightly beaten
150 Grams Dairy Free Butter, melted
Preheat oven to 180degrees celsius and line a brownie pan with baking paper.
Stir together flours, baking powder, cocoa and caster sugar.
Make a well in the centre and add eggs and melted butter. Mix until just smooth.
Spread the mixture into the prepared pan and place in the oven.
Bake for approximately 20 – 25 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out with crumbs clinging.
Allow to cool in pan, then cut into squares. OR use some heart shaped cookie cutters and cut out hearts for your Valentine.
