In 2010, we were proud to support a wonderful event known as Fashion Fights: Breast Cancer. We made some fashion themed, pink cupcakes for the event and had a great night watching and attending the Fashion show that was organised by the very talented Emily Bathgate. This year we have been asked to donate cupcakes to the event and we are incredibly excited and eager to support Emily again in her mission to raise funds for Australian charities through the medium of fashion!

The FASHION FIGHTS team are proud to this year present an exciting new concept and a revolution in fashion fundraising events that will undoubtedly get people talking. Funds raised by FASHION FIGHTS in 2012 will go towards helping The Butterfly Foundation to provide vital support to sufferers of eating disorders and body image issues, and their carers, by, amongst many things, providing support services, direct financial relief, and delivering education services and awareness campaigns.The Butterfly Foundation is dedicated to bringing about change to the culture, policy and practice in the prevention, treatment and support of those affected by eating disorders and negative body image. The Butterfly Foundation foresees us living in a world that celebrates health, well-being and diversity, and the FASHION FIGHTS initiative for 2012 will endeavour to help encourage all of the above.In its first year, FASHION FIGHTS emerged as a fashion fundraising event initiative and rose over $6000 in funds to support Breast Cancer research, with one hundred per cent of funds raised going to the 2010 charity of choice: The National Breast Cancer Foundation.Tickets are available from Moshtix
Sweetly Baked will be donating 200 cupcakes to this wonderful event, as well as a picnic basket filled with baked goods for one lucky person to bid on and win at the event.
