I made these for Rufey after his accident on Monday night. He’s been limping around all week, but is quickly getting back to his old jumping ways.
You can make them for your dog. Rufus is a bigger dog, so I made these quite big and made aproximately 30 of them. However you might like to halve the recipe if you have smaller dogs.

Peanut Butter Bones
Adapted from You Bake ‘Em Dog Biscuits by Janine Adams
You Will Need
For Biscuits…

Please use natural peanut butter
For Filling…
Again – Use natural peanut butter. Normal peanut butter isn’t really all that good for your pooch.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
In a bowl, beat the peanut butter, milk, cream cheese and molasses together.
Add the flour and oats and mix together with your hands.
Place on a floured bench and roll out dough until about 1-2 cms thick.
Cut out desired shapes and place on a baking tray. Place tray in the oven for approximately 15 minutes, until slightly browned.
While treats are cooling, mix together the additional cream cheese and peanut butter.

Once treats are cooled, spread an even layer of cream cheese/peanut butter mixture over one treat and sandwich together with another.

Give to your dog to enjoy.
